Yellow-jacket Pizza
Today our two oldest children and all of our grandchildren came to visit. There is always much discussion about what to fix that everyone will like. During our January Mission, our dear friends demonstrated a pizza making party for children. We decided to have Pal's Pizzeria at our house today. Every person was able to make their own personal pizza with the toppings of their choice. They were so yummy and the children had so much fun spreading the sauce on their flour tortilla and putting as much or no toppings on their pizzas. Our Sudanese boys love making their own pizzas and they were in charge of the baking, cutting and serving the pizzas when they were ready to eat.
One of the toppings that I had requested we get at the store was banana peppers. Rick purchased the real garden grown ones (I was talking about the pickled jar ones) and they were so so so so hot. Of course, all of the toppings were chopped or shredded and placed in their own bowls. Bullen picked up a little piece of the banana pepper to taste it and decide if he wanted it on his pizza. He announced to everyone that Rick had placed yellow-jackets in that bowl and they would sting your mouth if eaten.
Yellow jacket pizza! We had a great time together. Thank you Jesus for our precious family.
